The Institute for Research on Labor and Employment Library supports the
research activities of the faculty, students and staff who are associated
with IRLE, at the University of California, Berkeley. It also serves the
statewide community of scholars associated with the Miguel Contreras Labor
Program and the UC Labor and Employment Research Fund. The library's
collection includes over 60,000 print items and extensive
digital bibliographic resources, which are available via the World Wide
Web. The Library provides Web administration for ten campus units,
including programs at the Office of the President, and Berkeley. It also
publishes a Labor Research Portal that points at labor resources on the
Internet.
