ABSTRACT:
This report shows how tactics and arguments used to defend the unregulated consumption of tobacco in public were used in Scotland and how campaigners for smoke-free laws learned how to combat these tactics from the experiences of colleagues in Ireland, Australia, New York and Canada. This report serves as a guide to those campaigners and public health advocates in countries just starting their journy to smoke-free enclosed public environments.
