A proposal to encode Greek Acrophonic characters in UCS

ABSTRACT: Acrophonic numerals are found primarily in ancient Greek inscriptions from Athens and other Greek city-states. This article documents 53 acrophonic characters that were proposed and subsequently accepted for inclusion in the Unicode Standard.
