The University of California World History Workshop (UCWHW) primarily publishes materials about work conducted under the auspices of or presented at the conferences of the UC Multicampus Research Group on World History. Occasionally, we also publish essays connected with the emerging discipline of world and global history that present important new theoretical or pedagogical perspectives. Removal

A paper may be updated or removed from public view by sending a request to the system administrator at . However, a citation to the original version of the paper will always remain on the site.
Author Review

Authors are asked to review PDFs created from their papers within 15 days of being sent the PDF. At this stage, we're unable to make any changes beyond the rare error that occurs in PDF conversion, or serious typographical and factual errors.
