In 2013, in the business meeting of the 19th International Organization of Citrus Virologists (IOCV) Conference in South Africa the IOCV decided that to established the Journal of Citrus Pathology that will be hosted on eScholarship.

This peer reviewed, on-line publication, gives the IOCV the opportunity to support research on citrus health and further promote understanding among individuals, institutions and agencies concerned with citrus diseases, production, and health.
