Abstract
A marine littoral insect, Rheumatobates aestuarius Polhemus, is recorded from mangrove lagoons along the coast of Baja California, Mexico, with a detailed description of various instars. The males are characterized by prominent "moustaches'' on the 6th and 7th abdominal ventrites.
