Disability Law Journal

UCLA

General

The Disability Law Journal (DLJ) at the UCLA School of Law, the only academic journal focusing solely on Disability Law in the nation, is currently in the review process for the Journal's fifth issue, which will be published in Spring-Summer 2023. If you submitted an article or note for publication, we thank you for your submission, and we anticipate letting everyone know whether their submissions were selected by January 25, 2023.

At this time, we are not accepting any more submissions, but we anticipate that the Journal will reopen for submissions for our sixth issue in Fall 2023. For our sixth issue, the DLJ will be using a hybrid approach. For some of the articles in the issue, we will be honoring already-existing exceptional scholarship through republication and award. However, we are beginning the process of transitioning to a full, new-scholarship model, so we will also be publishing new articles. The DLJ is using this approach to continue creating a repository for disability law scholarship and recognizing the exceptional work that has already been accomplished, while also highlighting new scholarship and emerging issues in the field.

Although we are not currently accepting submissions, we encourage you to keep the DLJ in mind for any future notes or manuscripts you may wish to submit for publication. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at dlj@lawnet.ucla.edu, and we thank you for your interest in the DLJ!
